The Oshkosh Civility Challenges

Picture
Each of us is molded and shaped by the forces that influence our lives.  When we are young and impressionable, those forces can give distinct shape and character that remains with us for a very long period of time.

As we mature, the forces continue to shape our lives - sometimes in dramatic and self-evident ways; other times in less dramatic more hidden ways.

When we embrace the civility challenge - when we take brief pause from the rush of the emerging moment - we can see in those instances the uninterrupted pace of time itself as a force for change.  For some, civility might mean:
  • agreeable
  • considerate
  • courteous
  • gentile
  • good-mannered
  • gracious
  • honorable
  • polite
  • respectful
What does it mean for you?
